Configure default message outputs


Article Summary

Although users can set their own message preferences, you can set the default message outputs, and even lock some options to prevent users from changing these. 

  1. Go to Quick-access menu > Plugins > Message outputs > Default message outputs. 
  2. Configure the settings.
  3. Click Save changes

For each message you can choose to enable or disable the message (via a tick box). For each output method (task block, web, Microsoft Teams and email) you can decide if messages should be received when the user is online and/or offline. You can also decide if, for that message, the output method should be:

  • Disallowed: This output method cannot be used for this message. 
  • Permitted: This output method can be used for this message and configured by users.
  • Locked: This output method can be used for this message but is locked to the default settings.
