Viewing resources

Any public resources are displayed in the catalogue if it is configured to include resources. Resource creators can also see all of their own resources in their library. If a resource has been shared with other users, it will appear in their libraries too.

Resources are displayed in the catalogue and library as cards. Each card includes a thumbnail image, the resource title, how long the resource will take to read, and displays how many likes and comments the resource has received. The icon in the corner shows who can view the resource:

• Everyone can see
• Limited people can see
• Only you can see

Users can view resources from the catalogue or library by simply clicking the card. If you want to save a resource for later reference, click the bookmark icon and the resource will be available in the Saved resources section of your library.

When viewing a resource, a range of information is shown in the right-hand panel, which you can expand or collapse by clicking the arrow on the edge of the panel. The information panel shows a variety of information including the resource creator’s name and profile picture (both linking to their user profile) and the creation time and date. Here you can also see how many likes, shares and comments the resource has received.

The information panel displays the following:

• The resource creator’s name and profile picture (both linking to their user profile)
• Creation time and date
• When the resource was last updated
• How many likes, shares and comments the resource has received
• Assigned topics
• How long the resource should take to read
• Which playlists the resource is included in
