Enable offline access

Article Summary

When creating SCORM packages for offline use, each package must meet these criteria:

  • SCORM 1.2
  • No external links that require an internet connection
  • No embedded videos or other content that requires an internet connection

You can enable offline access as the default for all SCORM packages (if you're certain that all of your SCORM activities meet the criteria outlined below) by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to Quick-access menu > Plugins > Activity modules > SCORM package.
  2. Set the Allow offline attempts in mobile app setting to Yes
  3. Alternatively you can allow offline attempts on a case-by-case basis. This means you can only allow users to access modules offline if they meet the requirements outlined below. To do this, edit the SCORM activity and in the Attempts management section set Allow offline attempts in mobile app to Yes.
