Configure HR import element settings

Elements in HR import are different categories of data, such as job assignments, user data and positions. Each element can use the HR import default settings or use custom settings. To specify custom settings for an element, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Quick-access menu > HR import > Elements.
  2. Select the element you want to configure, e.g. User.
  3. Configure the settings as required.
  4. Click Save changes.
If setting a different scheduled import time for each element, ensure you set the files to run in a logical order. For example, ensure you run the position import before you run the job assignment import so that users can be linked to newly created positions. Likewise, ensure you run the user import before the job assignment import so new users can be associated with their job assignments.
