Delete an audience

If you no longer want or need an audience then you can delete it by following these steps:
- Go to Quick-access menu > Audiences.
- Click the cross icon () in the Actions column next to the audience you want to delete.
- Click Delete on the confirmation window.
Goals and roles will also be unassigned.
When deleting an audience you will be notified of these changes, and the number of instances of each change. This allows you to understand the scope of change across your site before you decide to delete an audience.
Even if you are aware of these changes, deleting audiences can cause unexpected issues depending on how you've used the audience previously. For example, if users are unenrolled from a course when an audience is deleted but they are re-added to an audience that is enrolled on the course, their grade history may be lost.
