Configure notification delivery preferences

You can configure how notifications are sent by configuring the default delivery channels for a notification event. These are the channels that will be used to send notifications to users, unless users customise their preferences. Examples of delivery channels are email notifications, notifications in the mobile app, or on the site's navigation bar. The available channels will depend on which message outputs have been installed and enabled for the site.
It is recommended that you configure these first (Quick-access menu > Notifications) so that you can disable all instances of specific delivery channels if desired.
Follow these steps to configure which default delivery channels are used:
- Click the icon of three dots () for the notification, then select Delivery preferences.
- Choose the delivery channels you want to use by default.
- Click Save.
