Enable a badge

Once you have created a badge, then added the details and criteria, you will need to enable it to make it accessible. There are two ways of doing this: by clicking the Enable access button in the banner whilst viewing the badge, or via the Manage badges page. The instructions on this page are for the method via the Manage badges page.
Enable a site badge
- Go to Quick-access menu > Badges.
- Click the crossed-out eye icon () next to the badge you want to enable.
- Click Continue on the confirmation window.
The badge will now be enabled and display an open eye icon () alongside it.
Enable a course badge
- Go to the course containing the badge you wish to enable.
- From the Administration block go to Course administration > Badges > Manage badges.
- Click the crossed-out eye icon () alongside the badge you want to enable.
- Click Continue on the confirmation window.
The badge will now be enabled and display an open eye icon () alongside it.
