You can see reports on each of the goal frameworks you have set up in the system by going to the quick-access menu, then Goals > Reports.
The page shows a table with three columns:
- Goal framework: The name of the goal framework. Clicking on this will take you into the framework.
- Number of goals: How many goals are in the framework.
- Reports: A link to a more detailed report on that item.
Within the reports column, there will either be a link to a Summary report or a Status report.
Summary report
The summary report link appears alongside all of the goal frameworks you have created in Totara. By clicking the link for the summary report you will be able to see more details on that particular framework.
Inside the summary report, there will be a list of all goals in that framework along with information on how many times the goal has been assigned to users and the status of the assigned goals.
You can apply filters to the report and export it as a CSV, Excel, ODS, or PDF.
Status report
The status report appears on the goal reports page alongside All frameworks and shows information on each goal in the system, including which users they are assigned to and what status they are in for each user.
You can apply filters to the report and export it as a CSV, Excel, ODS, or PDF.
The Totara Academy has a whole course dedicated to using Goals in Totara Learn. Here you can learn more on how to use goals, see best practice, and give it a go yourself.
