Add multi-language content to notifications

You can also set up your notifications to support multiple languages. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Quick-access menu > Plugins > Filters > Manage filters and ensure that the Multilanguage content filter is set to On.
  2. While editing the Body field of a notification, click the globe icon (Multilanguage content icon.). You can also add multi-language content in the Subject or Body field by using the keyboard shortcut ctrl + M.
  3. Click the edit icon () for one of the sections in the language block.
  4. Enter the Lang code.
  5. Enter the content for the appropriate language in the Content field.
  6. Click Save.

Each multi-language block can contain the content for all of your languages. When the notification is sent, the content from the appropriate language section will be selected.

When a built-in notification is sent, the notification system gets the subject and body content from the language pack for the recipient's language. However, if an administrator edits a built-in notification and overrides either the subject or body, all the translations except for the language being edited, are effectively lost and need to be specified using the process described above.
