Essay-Fragen stellen eine Frage dar, die die Lernenden mit freiem Text oder durch Hochladen eines Dokuments beantworten müssen, das dann manuell von der entsprechenden Person bewertet wird. Essay-Fragen werden in der Regel verwendet, wenn der Lernende eine längere, kritischere Antwort geben muss.

Wenn Sie möchten, dass die Teilnehmer nur eine kurze Antwort geben (z. B. ein oder zwei Wörter), sollten Sie stattdessen den Fragetyp Kurzantwort verwenden.
