Reports and multitenancy

When using multitenancy in Totara it is important to know that there are a few things that could affect your usage of reporting on your site.
This page covers various scenarios and the results for system users and tenant members, depending on the visibility content restrictions and whether tenant isolation mode is enabled.
Content restrictions
When viewing report content it is advised that you apply the following content restrictions:
- Show records based on user visibility rules
- Show records based on audience, course and workspace visibility restrictions
However, it is important to note that these options are not always available, depending on the report source being used. For example, Course Completion Including History is one report source where Show records based on audience, course and workspace visibility restrictions is not available as a content restriction.
