# Access your competency profile

To access your own competency profile you will need to go to *Develop > Competencies* from the main menu bar.

When you access the competency profile you will see information about any competencies assigned to you, as well as a [**Self assign competencies**](/18/docs/assign-a-competency-to-yourself) button in the top right. There may also be a button in the top-right corner for [**Rate competencies**](/18/docs/rate-competencies-on-the-competencies-profile) if you have any competencies assigned to you that you can rate.
