Add a badge endorsement

You can add third-party endorsements to badges to indicate that a third party approves of the badge and is satisfied that the badge is a good representation of the achievements it describes. Essentially this gives your badges additional credibility as they are backed by a trusted organisation.

The process is the same for site and course badges, the only difference is the path taken to get there. 

Add site badge endorsement

1. Go to Quick-access menu > Badges. 
2. Click the name of the badge for which you wish to add an endorsement.  
3. Select the Endorsement tab.
4. Configure the settings. 
5. Click Save changes.

Add course badge endorsement

1. Go to the course containing the badge for which you wish to add an endorsement. 
2. From the Administration block go to Course administration > Badges > Manage badges. 
3. Click the name of the badge. 
4. Select the Endorsement tab.
5. Configure the settings. 
6. Click Save changes.
