You can add custom fields to any position types you've created. These fields can store additional information about any positions assigned to that type. Custom fields are specific to the type for which they are created. When you assign a type to a position item, the position item inherits the custom fields associated with the type.
To add custom fields to a position type, follow these steps:
- Go to Quick-access menu > Positions.
- Click Manage types.
- Select the type for which you wish to add a custom field.
- Select a custom field from the Create a new custom field dropdown.
- Complete the common and specific settings.
- Click Save changes.
You can set up as many custom fields under each position type as required to hold the specific information for your position items.
The following custom fields are available:
- Checkbox
- Date/time
- Decimal input
- File (creates a file upload field)
- Integer input
- Location
- Menu of choices
- Multi-select
- Text input
- Text area
- URL
