Dashboards allow content to be displayed on selected users' home pages. Dashboards can be assigned to audiences and users can select and customise their assigned dashboards if allowed.
- Go to Quick-access menu > Configure features > Shared service settings.
- Set Enable Totara Dashboard to Show.
- Then go to Quick-access menu > Navigation > Dashboards.
- Click Create dashboard.
- Add the following information:
- Name: A description of the dashboard so assigned users know the who the dashboard is aimed at
- Locked: Assigned users will not be able to customise their dashboard when locked, while an unlocked dashboard can be customised by users
- Allow guest access: Allow guests users to view the dashboard
- Choose an option for Assigned audiences - Availability:
- Available to no users
- Available to all logged in users
- Available only to the following audiences
- Select Assign new audiences.
- Select Save changes.
