Duplicate a report

Once a report has been created you can duplicate it if required. Note that both user reports and embedded reports can be duplicated.

Duplicating a report creates a full copy of the report and its columns, filters and settings. Duplicating a report does not copy any scheduling or caching that has been set up for the report.

In order to duplicate a report, users must have the Create, edit and delete report builder reports (totara/reportbuilder:managereports) capability.

To duplicate a user report, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Quick-access menu > Reports > Manage user reports. 
  2. Click the icon of two pieces of paper () next to the report you want to duplicate.
  3. Click the Clone button.

To duplicate an embedded report, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Quick-access menu > Reports > Manage embedded reports. 
  2. Click the icon of two pieces of paper () next to the report you want to duplicate.
  3. Click the Clone button.
