Edit an API client

You can edit an existing API client by following these steps:
- Navigate to Quick-access menu > Development > API > API Clients.
- For the client you want to edit, click the icon of three dots ().
- From the dropdown menu, select either Edit client details to edit the client's name, description, service account and status, or select Edit client settings to configure the client-specific settings.
- Configure the settings as required, then click Save.
If there is a problem with this client's service account, you may see a validation error for the service account. Select a new valid service account user and click Save to fix the problem. See API service accounts for more information.
