# Enable goals

There are two [goal-setting systems](/18/docs/what-are-goals) available in Totara. You can choose which system you would like to enable on your site via [Configure features](/18/docs/configure-features).

As a Site Administrator, follow these steps:

1. Go to *Quick-access menu > Configure features > Perform settings*.
2. For the **Enable goals** setting, select either **Totara goals** or **Legacy goals**.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the **Save** button.

If you have both [multitenancy](/18/docs/what-is-multitenancy) and tenant isolation enabled then goals will not be available for your site's users if **Legacy goals** is selected.
