# Enable HR import for users in bulk

If you are using [HR import](/18/docs/what-is-hr-import), you may want to enable or disable this user management method for many users at once using a bulk user action.

1. Go to *Quick-access menu > Users > Bulk user actions.*
2. Select the users for whom you wish to enable or disable HR import (you may need to filter if you have a large number of users on your site).
3. Click **Add to selection**.
4. Select **Toggle HR import** from the **With selected users** dropdown.
5. Click **Go**.
6. Select either **Enable** or **Disable** from the dropdown menu.
7. Click **Continue**.

You can select multiple users at once using the **CTRL** (or **CMD**) key on your keyboard.

Users can be filtered according to full name, surname, first name, email address, city/town, country, confirmed, first access, last access, last login, username, and authentication.

If you have set a custom profile field, this will also be available from the **Profile** dropdown box.
