# Remove a member from a workspace

Site Administrators and [Workspace Owners](/18/docs/workspace-roles) can remove members from a [workspace](/18/docs/what-are-workspaces) in the **Members** tab. Follow these steps:

1. Go to the workspace from which you need to remove a member.
2. Go to the **Members** tab.
3. Find the user you need to remove.
4. Select the icon of three dots (![](https://cdn.document360.io/a007399b-031e-436b-999a-528240e16f58/Images/Documentation/image-1639579437880.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T12%3A49%3A10Z&se=2026-11-07T13%3A49%3A10Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=BYL54ubH4lR3MnKOdxrlqLvetlulNkMg7ex6cZU7MQM%3D)) in the top-right corner of the user's card.
5. Click **Remove**.

You will not be able to remove a member from a workspace using this method if the user was [assigned to the workspace via an audience](/18/docs/add-an-audience-to-a-workspace). You would instead need to remove that user from the audience, but note that this could affect their access to other workspaces, learning, and more.
