Restricting access based on date

The date restriction allows you to prevent access to an activity until or from a specified date and time.

To restrict access based on date, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the course and select Turn editing on.
2. Click Edit next to the activity for which you want to restrict access.
3. Expand the Restrict access section and click Add restriction.
4. Select Date.
5. You can select whether the learner must or must not match the specified completion criteria.
6. Select the relevant from or until option from the dropdown menu and enter the relevant date and time.  
7. Then click Save and display or Save and return to course to confirm your selection.

You can also click the X delete icon to cancel without saving.
