# Running a workspace

As a [Workspace Owner](/18/docs/workspace-roles), there are a number of things you can do to keep your workspace running smoothly.

Here's an overview of the tasks you may need to take care of:

- [Adding members](/18/docs/add-a-member-to-a-workspace) to the workspace
- Approving or rejecting [requests to join the workspace](/18/docs/join-a-workspace)
- [Removing workspace members](/18/docs/remove-a-member-from-a-workspace)
- Setting up the [workspace notifications](/18/docs/configure-workspace-notifications)
- Manage [workspace library](/18/docs/workspace-tabs) content
- [Starting discussions](/18/docs/start-a-discussion)
- Moderating discussions and [deleting comments](/18/docs/remove-inappropriate-content) if required

If you're no longer able to run a workspace yourself, you may also want to [transfer ownership](/18/docs/transfer-workspace-ownership) to another user.
