# Add a seminar asset

When [managing seminar assets](/19/docs/manage-seminar-assets) on your site you can add new assets by following these steps:

1. Go to *Quick-access menu > Seminars > Assets*.
2. Click **Add a new asset**.
3. Give the asset a descriptive (and ideally unique) name.
4. Check the **Allow asset booking conflicts** setting to allow the asset to be assigned to two or more seminar event sessions that are running at the same time.
5. Optionally give the asset a description.
6. Complete any **Custom fields** that you've added.
7. Click **Add an asset**.

Only users with the **mod/facetoface:managesitewideassets** capability can create new assets site-wide, and only users with the **mod/facetoface:manageadhocassets** capability can create assets within a specific seminar activity.
