# Approval workflows notification placeholders

| **Placeholder name** | **Placeholder syntax** | **Placeholder meaning** |

| Applicant placeholders | [applicant:____] e.g. [applicant:first_name] | All user profile fields relating to the applicant (see [Notification placeholders](/19/docs/notification-placeholders)). |
| Application title | [application:title] | The title of the application. |
| Application title (with link) | [application:title_linked] | The title of the application with a link to the application. |
| Application ID number | [application:id_number] | The ID number of the application. |
| Application approval level | [application:current_approval_level] | The name of the approval level that the application is currently on. |
| Application stage name | [application:current_stage_name] | The name of the approval stage that the application is currently on. |
| Application type | [application:type] | The approval workflow type name. |
| Applicant organisation short name | [applicant_job_assignment_organisation:short_name] | The applicant's organisation's short name. |
| Applicant organisation full name | [applicant_job_assignment_organisation:full_name] | The applicant's organisation's full name. |
| Applicant organisation ID number | [applicant_job_assignment_organisation:id_number] | The applicant's organisation's ID number. |
| Recipient placeholders | [recipient:____] e.g. [recipient:first_name] | All user profile fields relating to the recipient (see [Notification placeholders](/19/docs/notification-placeholders)). |
| Recipient link to applications dashboard | [recipient:application_dashboard] | A link to the recipient's application dashboard. |

| Withdrawn stage name | [workflow_stage:name] | The name of the stage at which the application was withdrawn. |
