# Archive a site policy

Once you have [published a site policy](/19/docs/publish-a-site-policy) you may wish to remove it. This can be done by archiving the published version of the policy. Note that you can only archive the latest published version.

To archive a policy, follow these steps:

1. Go to *Quick-access menu > Security > Site policies > Manage policies****.***
2. Click the name of the policy you wish to archive.
3. Click the box icon (![](https://cdn.document360.io/a007399b-031e-436b-999a-528240e16f58/Images/Documentation/archive.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-01T18%3A11%3A51Z&se=2026-11-01T19%3A11%3A51Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=M1TZtEJtngNDPdBwxqg9Oinjz3i1lz6Uwa8m%2Fszx3uM%3D)) to archive the policy version.
4. Click **Archive** on the confirmation screen.

You will still be able to create a new version of the policy or edit an unpublished version.

When you archive a policy, any translations of that version will also be archived.
