Comment on Totara goals

When monitoring and updating Totara goals, users can add comments to have a conversation about how the user is progressing towards their goals. These comments allow users and their managers to collaborate, provide context, and update each other as they work on their goals.
You can add a comment to any goal you're able to view, including your own goals or those of your direct reports (if you're a manager).
Add a comment
To add a comment to a Totara goal, follow these steps:
- To add a comment to one of your own goals, first navigate to Develop > Goals. To add a comment to one of your team members' goals, instead navigate to Develop > Team, then click Goals under the team member's name.
- Select the goal for which you want to add a comment.
- Select the Comments tab.
- Type your comment in the text field.
- Click Post.
Reply to a comment
You can reply to an existing comment on a goal by following these steps:
- Navigate to the goal containing the goal you want to reply to.
- Select the Comments tab.
- Click the icon of a curved arrow ().
- Type your comment in the text field.
- Click Reply to post the comment.
Edit or delete a comment
You can edit or delete your own comments on a Totara goal by following these steps:
- Navigate to the goal containing the goal you want to reply to.
- Select the Comments tab.
- Clicking the icon of three dots (), then select Edit or Delete.
- Click Done when you've finished editing the comment, or click Delete to confirm that you want to delete the comment.
