This will prevent users from accessing the site whilst you perform maintenance. To put your site into maintenance mode, follow these steps: 1. Go to *Quick-access menu > Server > Maintenance mode**.*** 2. Change the **Maintenance mode** dropdown to **Enable**. 3. You can optionally enter a message to be displayed e.g. 'The site is down until [ insert date] for routine maintenance.' 4. Click **Save changes**. If you choose to display a message then when a user tries to access the site it will be displayed under the default message that reads: 'The site is undergoing maintenance and is currently not available'. Once you have finished maintenance remember to turn maintenance mode off again. 1. Go to *Quick-access menu > Server > Maintenance mode**.*** 2. Change the **Maintenance mode** dropdown to **Disable**. 3. Click **Save changes**.
