# Create an H5P activity

You can use [H5P activities](/19/docs/what-is-h5p) to create highly interactive learning experiences using a wide range of content types, including presentations, interactive video, branching scenarios, quizzes, and different tasks to test your learners' knowledge.

Follow these steps to create an H5P activity in a course:

1. Navigate to the course and click **Turn editing on**.
2. Click **Add an activity or resource** in the section to which you want to add the activity.
3. Select **H5P** from the **Add an activity...** menu, then click **Add**.
4. Configure the [activity settings](/19/docs/h5p-activity-settings).
5. In the **Editor** field you can select and configure an H5P interaction. The exact steps will depend on which H5P elements you wish to include in the activity. See [H5P's documentation](https://h5p.org/documentation/for-authors/tutorials) for more information on configuring the available elements.
6. Once you have finished setting up the activity, click **Save and display** or **Save and return to course page**.
