# Delete a feedback template

Anyone with editing rights to a course can delete any of the course-based feedback templates, however only a Site Administrator can delete a site-wide (public) template.

1. Go into the feedback activity and click on the **Templates** tab.
2. Click the **Delete template...** link.
3. Next to the template you wish to delete click the cross icon (![](https://cdn.document360.io/a007399b-031e-436b-999a-528240e16f58/Images/Documentation/image-1634550766829.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-06T06%3A35%3A30Z&se=2026-11-06T07%3A35%3A30Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=V2gAN%2BehmaaMONlBScS8cVAPsKUH%2FGTLfgcwRj19SXM%3D)).
4. Click **Yes** to confirm.
