# Edit a program

Once a [program has been created](/19/docs/create-a-program) it is still possible to make changes by editing the program, although be aware that if a program is live, any changes made will impact on the assigned learners.

To edit one of your programs, follow these steps:

1. Go to *Quick-access menu > Program*.
2. Select the name of the category (or sub category) in which the program sits.
3. Select the cog icon (![](https://cdn.document360.io/a007399b-031e-436b-999a-528240e16f58/Images/Documentation/image-1637242383109.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-06T07%3A05%3A17Z&se=2026-11-06T08%3A05%3A17Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=TBvzDfFs%2Fv%2Bm%2FH9UmVPkJaE5heoUW2uk23hBouBVusk%3D)) for the required program, or select the program name to open it, then select **Edit program details**.
4. Edit the program [**Details**](/19/docs/program-details)**,** [**Content**](/19/docs/adding-program-content)**,** [**Assignments**](/19/docs/assign-learners-to-a-program-or-certification) and [**Notifications**](/19/docs/managing-program-and-certification-notifications) as required.
5. Select **Save changes** on each page to save any edits or **Cancel** to disregard.

A program can also be deleted, moved up or down the program listing page, hidden, or moved to another category within the category program listing using the corresponding icons in the **Edit** column.
