You can make changes to an approval workflow's stages before and after publishing the workflow. You can edit any part of the workflow while it is in draft. After publishing (and when there are active applications) you will only be able to add/remove approvers to a level and edit notifications.
To make changes to a workflow, follow these steps:
- Go to the workflow dashboard via Quick-access menu > Approval workflows > Manage workflows.
- Select the workflow you wish to edit.
- Click the icon of three dots () in the top-right corner.
Here you have a number of options, depending on the changes you wish to make:
- Edit workflow details: Change the name, description or workflow ID
- Clone, archive or delete: These actions depend on the workflow status, please see the table below
- Assign roles: Allows you to assign users to roles within the context of the workflow
- Upload approver overrides: Bulk management of approvers for workflows with many assignments
Overall progress status | Available actions |
---|---|
