# Enable content types in the catalogue

You can configure the [catalogue](/19/docs/what-is-the-catalogue) to show different types of content from your site by following these steps:

1. Go to *Quick-access menu > Courses and categories > Configure catalogue* (/totara/catalog/config.php).
2. On the **Contents** tab, select the content types you wish to include in the catalogue from the following:
  - Courses
  - Resources
  - Certifications
  - Playlists
  - Programs
  - Workspaces
3. Click **Save**.

Users will now be able to search and browse the catalogue for all enabled content types. When users search for user-generated content and workspaces, the search will prioritise titles and descriptions, followed by tags.

Note that only resources and playlists set to **Public** will be displayed in the catalogue. Both **Public** and **Private** workspaces will be displayed in the catalogue.
