Main menu settings

When adding or editing a main menu item, you can configure the following settings.
Setting | Description | Notes |

Type | Choose either:

Parent item | The item this menu item will sit under. Use the dropdown menu to choose from the existing top-level menu items. Select Top if you do not want this item to sit under another item. | - |
Menu title | The name of the menu item. This field supports the multi-language content filter. | - |
Visibility | Select from:

Menu URL address | Start the URL with a forward slash (/) to make the link relative to your site URL. Otherwise start the URL with http:// or https://, i.e. http://extdomain.com You can also use following placeholders:

Open link in new window | If selected, clicking this menu item will open the page in a new browser window instead of the current window. | This will only appear when the Type has been set to URL. |
