# Participate in a survey

When a user [creates a survey](/19/docs/create-a-survey), they can decide who it will be shared with. If a survey is shared with you, you can vote by following these steps:

1. Go to **Your library** from the main menu.
2. Select the **Shared with you** section to see any surveys that have been shared with you.
3. Find the survey you want to answer and click **Vote**.
4. Select a response, then click **Vote**.
5. You can now view the survey results.
