# Program enrolment

Users can be enrolled on a course by enrolling in a program or certification. This enrolment method is not set up within a course as other methods are. Instead, courses are enrolled on when program or certification rules allow.

To set up program or certification enrolment for a course, simply [add the course to a program](/19/docs/add-a-course-set-to-a-program) or [certification](/19/docs/adding-certification-content) and configure the rules as required.
