Go to *Quick-access menu > Security > Site policies > Manage policies****.*** 2. Click the name of the policy you wish to publish. 3. Click the icon with a right-pointing arrow (![](https://cdn.document360.io/a007399b-031e-436b-999a-528240e16f58/Images/Documentation/publish.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-01T18%3A12%3A32Z&se=2026-11-01T19%3A12%3A32Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=PuF7STCJzrhGJV0ayBxFacSAkrS4HHMgfIF48TBrHuE%3D)). 4. Click **Publish** on the confirmation screen. You will no longer be able to edit that version of the policy, but you can archive it if required. If you need to make changes to the site policy then you will need to create a new version of the policy. ## Next steps - [Create a new version of a site policy](/19/docs/create-a-new-version-of-a-site-policy) - [Edit a site policy](/19/docs/edit-a-site-policy) - [Archive a site policy](/19/docs/archive-a-site-policy) - [Delete a site policy](/19/docs/delete-a-site-policy) Join the [Totara Community](https://totara.community/) for more resources to help you get the most out of Totara. © Copyright 2026 Totara Learning Solutions.
