# Show an evidence type

If you have previously [hidden an evidence type](/19/docs/hide-an-evidence-type), you may wish to make it visible so that it can be used.

1. Go to *Quick-access menu > Evidence.*
2. Click the closed-eye icon (![](https://cdn.document360.io/a007399b-031e-436b-999a-528240e16f58/Images/Documentation/eye_close.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-01T19%3A45%3A37Z&se=2026-11-01T20%3A45%3A37Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=hR0W6juyHCrt%2FfKEy%2FrHim%2FdHaZxS2Gjx89S9v%2Bz0n8%3D)) next to the evidence type you wish to show.
