When you are looking to find new resources or playlists, you may want to browse other users’ libraries.
To view another user’s library, follow these steps:
- Go to another user’s profile by clicking their profile picture or name (e.g. on a discussion they’ve posted).
- Click the [Name]’s library link in the Contributions block.
- Here you will see any public content items or items that have been shared with you.
By default the custom Contributions section will be added to the user profile. You can configure the Contributions category by navigating to Quick-access menu > Users > User profile fields. Here you can change the name of the category by clicking the cog icon (). This section will initially contain a single field called User's contributions. You can configure this field's settings by clicking the cog icon ( ).
Note that using multitenancy on your site will affect which user-generated content users are able to access. See Multitenancy in Totara Learn for more information.
The Totara Academy has a whole course dedicated to using playlists and resources in Totara. Here you can find out more about creating, and sharing playlists and resources, as well as find best-practice guidance.
