Totara makes it easy for your users to find curated learning and resources, get involved in discussions, and share knowledge with peers. A combination of Totara features facilitate peer-to-peer social interaction, and the sharing of user-created content, either directly or through shared workspaces.
Key features that support informal and collaborative learning include:
- Resources: Empower your users to become content generators. Allow them to create or curate content and share it with others. From videos and documents to surveys and links, users can share relevant information quickly and easily.
- Playlists: Users combine related resources into public or private playlists, curating items for themselves or acting as subject matter experts to share with others.
- Workspaces: Make room for your teams to work together through workspaces. Private or public, invite-only or open to everyone, workspaces allow for real-time discussion and information sharing in one place.
- Recommendations: Add the Recommended for you block to provide personalised content recommendations to your users.
- Integrations: Meet your teams where they already are. Totara can be directly integrated with MS Teams, enabling true learning in the flow of work.
We recommend our Getting started with informal and collaborative learning guide as a starting point.
