# Workspace notification triggers

Notifications can be configured to be sent when the following events/triggers relating to [workspaces](/19/docs/what-are-workspaces) occur.

| **Notification trigger event** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| User role changed | Notifications can be triggered to send when a user is assigned a different role in a workspace (e.g. when they are added or removed as a Workspace Owner). |
| User added to a workspace | Notifications can be triggered to send when a user is added to a workspace (e.g. via audience membership). |
