When viewing responses to a feedback activity there are a number of different ways you can view these. Either via the Analysis tab (all answers combined) or via the Show responses tab (which shows each user's answers).
Viewing analysis
The Analysis tab will show you how many times each answer was given. This might be as a graph (if there were set answers) or as a list of responses for each question if the answers were free text.

Show responses
The Show responses tab gives you a detailed list of what each individual respondent submitted. If the feedback was carried out anonymously then you will see Response number: x instead of the user's name.
If you have editing rights on the course then you can view and delete individual responses, as well as download the table of responses. Responses can be downloaded in the following formats:
Comma separated values (.csv)
Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)
HTML table
Javascript Object Notation (.json)
Open Document (.ods)
If the Record user names setting is set to Anonymous for this activity, responses on the Show responses tab will be randomised. This ensures that users cannot be identified based on when they submitted their response. The list is randomised each time a new response is submitted.

Show non-respondents
Unless the responses are set to anonymous, there will also be a Show non-respondents tab where the trainer or Feedback activity administrator can select some or all enrolled course users who have not yet completed the feedback and send them a reminder message.
Users may be able to control when or how they receive this message, depending on the configuration of Messaging Outputs on your particular site.
Feedback response report source
Available from Totara v20.1
The Feedback response report source enables Site administrators to analyse responses submitted through feedback activities across the site. Responses from multiple courses can be consolidated in a single user report, providing a site-wide view of feedback data. The report source can also be used to combine feedback responses with other report fields such as Course, User, and organisational information.
Using the Feedback response report source, administrators can:
Analyse responses from multiple Feedback activities in a single report.
Report on feedback results across courses and categories.
Aggregate responses using shared question labels (for example, course rating).
Track trends in feedback data across different courses.
Create dashboards or reports for organisational-level analysis.
Use cases
This report source is particularly useful for organisations that:
Run enterprise-wide surveys or evaluations
Use shared feedback templates across multiple courses
Deliver standardised course evaluations
Manage large volumes of Feedback activities across the site
By consolidating feedback responses in a single reporting source, Site administrators can analyse survey results more efficiently and identify trends across learning programmes without manually reviewing individual activity reports.
