You can assign roles to users at a category level to save time when applying roles. For example, you could assign one user the Trainer role in a specific category, and that user would be assigned the Trainer role for all courses within that category.
- Go to Quick-access menu > Courses and categories.
- Find the category in which you’d like to assign a role.
- Click the cog icon (
) and select Assign roles. - Select the role you want to assign.
- Select the user(s) from the Potential users in the right-hand column.
- Select Add.
You can also achieve this by assigning roles to an audience that has been set up within a category.
