To view the certificate archive, follow these steps: 1. Navigate to the course containing the certificate you wish to view. 2. Select the certificate activity. 3. In the **Administration** block, click **Certificate archive**. 4. You can then use the **Filter options** to find the archived certificate you're looking for. Archived certificates are kept indefinitely.Note that the **Save certificate** setting in the [certificate activity settings](/totara-20/docs/certificate-activity-settings) does not save certificates to the certificate archive. ![Viewing the filter options on the Certificate Archive page.](https://cdn.document360.io/a007399b-031e-436b-999a-528240e16f58/Images/Documentation/image-1727864674295.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-06T06%3A17%3A12Z&se=2026-11-06T07%3A17%3A12Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=Cp0oEvOTgM10zcrcVpcHwFQOGVkdIAijxlb%2BSXZfKF4%3D) Join the [Totara Community](https://totara.community/) for more resources to help you get the most out of Totara. © Copyright 2026 Totara Learning Solutions.
