An end stage is one of the stage types you can add to an approval workflow. An end stage is used for completed applications, or for incomplete applications that can’t progress any further. You can have as many end stages as required for reporting purposes.
You can only configure notifications on an end stage, and the only notification trigger that applies is At start of stage.
Developer note
An approvalform plugin could implement conditions that determine which end stage an application ends up in, for reporting purposes. For example, specific values in a given form field could affect which end stage is used for the application.
