Configure enrolment methods

Enable and disable enrolment methods at site level

To use specific enrolment methods at the course level, those methods first need to be enabled at the site level.

Follow these steps to configure which enrolment methods are enabled:

1. Go to Quick-access menu > Plugins > Enrolments > Manage enrol plugins.
2. Enable the enrolment method(s) that you wish to use by clicking the eye icons. Methods with an open eye icon are enabled, while a closed icon means the method is disabled.
3. To change the plugin settings, click on Settings next to the enrolment plugin(s) you have chosen.
4. If you have changed any settings for an enrolment method, click the Save changes button.

Configure course enrolment methods

1. Log in as a course administrator.
2. Select Course administration > Users > Enrolment methods.
3. Methods with open eye icons are enabled, and methods with closed eye icons are disabled. You can configure which options are enabled for the course by toggling these icons.
4. Click the cog icon for a method to configure its settings.
5. If a desired enrolment method is not listed, you can add it using the Add method dropdown menu. 
6. Once you have selected a method, configure its settings and click Add method.
