You will then need to enable the Google Drive API in the Google API Console. Once you have set up your Google API you will need to follow these steps: 1. Go to *Quick-access menu >* *Plugins > Repositories > Manage repositories.* 2. Enable the Google service you want (e.g. Google Drive). 3. This will then prompt you to enter the **Client ID** and **Secret**, which you will be able to get from your Google API Console. If you're not automatically prompted for the extra details then you can click the **Settings** link. 4. Click **Save** when you are done. You can follow the same steps for portfolios, but go to *Quick-access menu >* *Plugins > Portfolios > Manage portfolios* instead. ## Next steps - [Repository settings](/totara-20/docs/repository-settings) - [Add a file from a repository with the file picker](/totara-20/docs/add-a-file-from-a-repository-with-the-file-picker) Join the [Totara Community](https://totara.community/) for more resources to help you get the most out of Totara. © Copyright 2026 Totara Learning Solutions.
