Create a course

Courses contain the activities and resources that learners will access to undertake their training. A course is typically a single page broken into sections by topics or weeks with links to the activities and resources learners need to complete.
As a Site Administrator, Site Manager, or Course Creator you can create new courses by following these steps:
- Go to Quick-access menu > Courses and categories.
- Choose the category you want your course to belong to (this can be changed later).
- Select the Create new course link.
- If your site has content marketplaces enabled, select Create a multi-activity course.
- Complete the mandatory course settings.
- Click Save Changes.
Alternatively, as a Site Administrator, Site Manager or Course Creator you can create new courses via the catalogue:
- Go to Learn > Find Learning within the main menu (this opens the catalogue).
- Select Create and choose Course from the dropdown list.
- Complete the mandatory course settings.
- Click Save changes.
