In this case, you can create a custom [report](/totara-20/docs/what-are-reports) to report on something specific. We recommend using the **Site logs** report source to create custom log reports. Follow these steps to create your report: 1. Go to *Quick-access menu >* *Reports > Manage user reports.* 2. Click **Create report**. 3. Select the **Site logs** report source. 4. Click **Create and edit**. 5. Amend your report settings. 6. Click **Save changes**. ## Next steps - [Investigate actions in the system](/totara-20/docs/investigate-actions-in-the-system) - [Core log stores](/totara-20/docs/core-log-stores) - [Course reports](/totara-20/docs/course-reports) - [Create a user report](/totara-20/docs/create-a-user-report) - [Edit an embedded report](/totara-20/docs/edit-an-embedded-report) Join the [Totara Community](https://totara.community/) for more resources to help you get the most out of Totara. © Copyright 2026 Totara Learning Solutions.
