# Edit a dynamic audience

Once you have [created a dynamic audience](/totara-20/docs/create-a-dynamic-audience) you may wish to make changes to it.

You can edit a dynamic audience by following these steps:

1. Go to *Quick-access menu > Audiences*.
2. Click the cog icon ( ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a007399b-031e-436b-999a-528240e16f58/Images/Documentation/image-G43D01LO.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-06T07%3A05%3A19Z&se=2026-11-06T08%3A05%3A19Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=oKNVVbCVKHV6O671fsgrn1LFVxrmZ7VX6k1UPW97VKY%3D) ) next to the audience.
3. Make your desired changes within the tabs (remember to click **Save changes** when moving between tabs).
  - If you have made changes under the **Rules** tab to the [**Membership logic**](/totara-20/docs/audience-rules), or to a [**Rule set**](/totara-20/docs/add-an-audience-rule-set) you can preview changes to the audience membership by clicking **Preview** in the **Pending audience changes** pop-up before confirming.
