Edit a tag

You may wish to make changes to one or more tags contained within a collection. You can edit the name of the tag, add a description, change whether the tag is 'standard' and add related tags. 

1. Go to Quick-access > Appearance > Manage tags.
2. Click the name of the collection containing the tag you wish to edit.
3. Click the pencil icon () next to the name to quickly edit it (pressing the Enter keyboard key when you are done).
4. Click the cog icon ().
5. Edit the settings as you wish. 
6. Click Update. 

You can also access the Manage tags interface through a course by clicking the Manage standard tags link in the Tags section when editing course, activity or resource settings.
